"I come from a family involved in small business across three generations and that has been active in community service for as long as I can remember. I want to work with you. We need to create more economic vibrancy in Frome, improve access to health care and increase investment in infrastructure - including our unique built heritage. As an Independent, I will work with the government of the day, be it Liberal or Labor, to effectively represent our region. With decades of diverse experience, I know what it takes to find solutions and get things done."
my track record
I have advocated for Kapunda, Eudunda and Clare Hospitals. Lower rates for residents and businesses while serving on Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council. Greater investment in key infrastructure in our region that the major parties have neglected for many years. During my 3 years as a Councillor, I've contributed to many milestones. The long awaited Watervale Community Centre. The revitalisation of Clare Main Street, which was recently chosen to host the prestigious Main Street SA Conference 2021. Applied tourism strategies have led to Clare being voted SA's Top Tourism Town 2021. The redevelopment of the Clare Oval has been reignited and is on track for completion in 2023. The beautiful Riesling Trail is now connected to the Rattler Trail via the Auburn Connector. In spite of Covid, communities are thriving through the effective support of a wonderful volunteer community - to name a few. If elected, I will represent you with vision, integrity, passion and commitment. Most of all, I will listen to what YOU need and care about.

WHY FROME NEEDS AN INDEPENDENT
The big parties are increasingly city-centric in their focus. The regions are being left behind. Seats considered 'safe' for a major party are usually ignored. I think local residents deserve better than that. We need local people who are truly committed to our area. I'm not beholden to a party. Instead, I will work with the government of the day to achieve the best outcome for Frome.
Vibrant Local Economy
I will focus on keeping local economies vibrant through the renewal of our Main Streets. Effective tourism strategies to broaden our economic base and make it more resilient. Better promotion for our tourism businesses. Renewal of our unique built heritage, which is so important for cultural tourism.
better access to Healthcare
I will address the needs of an ageing population through better access to health care facilities. This includes mental health.
affordable housing
I will address shortages of affordable housing in our region.

I will focus on keeping young people local to our region through increased acesss to tertiary education, skills training and jobs.
